for the thrill.

Some people will go to crazy lengths purely for the adrenaline rush. Some will wrestle alligators, some will ride the biggest waves possible, and some put their life in the hands of a rope that is a mere 1/2" thick. The average thrillseeker will stop at nothing to get his fix. The thrill is what these people live for, it drives their life. I have been a mild thrillseeker my whole life, and just recently I have found out what it truly means to me.

Being an adventurer does not solely have to be the physical aspect. You can have some of the wildest rides of your life from putting your trust, faith, and being into something bigger than yourself. That is the ultimate thrill. Not giving in to what you want, but what God wants for you. Giving up the control of YOUR life to someone else is an eery feeling at first, but after the realization that He knows what is best for you it turns into the surfer riding the 60 foot wave, and climber climbing the steepest cliffs. Bear in mind however, that it IS possible to complete both of these actions. The only difference in your adventuring, will be that it is not your top priority: God is. Just as in these action sports, there are going to be moments where the fall is inevitable, but Dad will be watching out for you. There are times where we would fail if we attempted these by ourselves, however God does not fail. He will not let you fall, he will catch you and wrap you in his arms before you hit your deepest moments. The ultimate thrill, is to put your whole being, into something greater than yourself. It might be scary, but the moments of happiness that follows are immeasurable.
